I will do my best to describe the engine and the work I have done on it. It has a new gas tank and a new fuel pump. I also replaced the rings so the compression is good. The Wiki magneto is strong. I believe the carburetor, it is carbonated and not a true hit and miss, could use some work in that the governor doesn’t seem to have much affect on the flap valve in the tube of the carburetor. The speed of the engine seems to be more controlled by the needle valve than anything. The needle valve is new as is the replica muffler. I have not replaced the bearings as they seem in good shape. There are no repairs such as welding or brazing on the motor. The engine cart is included in the sale price. It is heavy duty but not a production, original cart. The pull on the cart is an old branding iron from the west and probably has value in itself. As you might expect the engine is heavy, but pretty, unlike me—heavy but not pretty. There is a possibility this engine could be delivered to Baraboo Wi for the engine show in mid Aug.
