Circa 1905 12hp Fairbanks Morse Type N hit and miss engine. Serial number on the cylinder is #43736, no stamp on the crank, head has a different number. The engine has had a complete restoration: new sleeve, piston rings, new oilers and glass, offside flywheel was refitted to crank, reproduction carb, match start, air pump, chimney, fuel pump, hot tube burner. There are no cracks in the cylinder. There is a small crack in the base on the front and was drilled at the end, showed in pic, shouldn’t be an issue. The ignitor is refurbished, all new plumbing etc. The engine has great compression. The exhaust valve was ground and seated. All parts were polished and cleaned including flywheel rims. Battery box is included (I made it). Flywheels run pretty close to true, one side is out less than 3/16ths. The engine is beautiful, but needs to find a new home. I just don’t have the room to house it and I can’t take it anywhere to show it. Please feel free to ask any questions.
