The engine is in good shape, and runs just as good as it looks. The gas tank is not correct as you can see, but seems to work ok. There is only one repair on the engine, and its on the trip assembly, which doesn’t hurt a thing. The Webster magneto is nice and hot, and never fails to start the engine right up. The only thing the engine is missing is a muffler and nameplate, which both can be bought new. Compression is good/fair, when the engine is running there is no blowby, but when you turn the engine over by hand some compression will leak by. This engine needs nothing but a new owner and some gas and oil, nothing else required to be ready to hit the shows. Comes with a nice ball check oiler with new glass, works perfect! A fairly scarce engine to find compared to a 1 1/2hp Economy! No gear noise or any bad clunks, the engine runs smooth, hits strong, and coasts nice.
