This is a early model Dayton Ohio vacuum rotor with 3 digit serial number (871). This motor was in pretty bad shape when I got it. Some parts were missing so I made new brass and metal parts. Some of the parts I had to replace was beyond repair or missing. This is the early model that does NOT have the whistle in the top front. One of the pics show some of the parts that were in bad shape. I’ve only got it to run three or four revolutions at a time. I think the timing or something needs to be adjusted a little.
