This is an original magneto off a 3hp john deere hit miss engine. It can be used with 1.5 hp and 6hp engines as well but would need the gear changed. This gear is set for a 3hp. This magneto has been in dry storage trailer box since the 1950s. I don’t know the working condition but the gear does spin. Its not locked up. There is a small hairline crack where the bolt threads in at the base as seen in last pic. Thank you for your interests and see my other items I have listed.
