Here nice Sumter Jr. Magneto This mag is in pretty good shape. It is hot and should be ready to use. The original pot metal base has been replaced with a very nice aluminum reproduction. This is a very difficult mag to find and will fit many different applications. Brass Body, new aluminum base. Mounts with 2 holes 2 on center. 3/8 straight shaft for gear mounting. The porcelain insulator around the power connection is a little chipped, almost all of these mags are like that and it will not hurt its operation in any way. Only very minimal wear. This mag is for an igniter and will not fire a spark plug. I truly believe that it is in good working order and is ready to start and run your engine. I think I list items very accurately but my opinion on condition may differ from yours. If you want advice on how to use it please give me a call and I’ll be glad to help. Please do not tear it apart to “clean it” or “paint it” and then try to return it or get me to pay for a rebuild because it stopped working. Most items will go out faster though.
