Scarce 1 1/2hp Fairbanks Morse Plugoscillator engine with serial tag on the head. These were made for about a year. Barn fresh from an old collection. Engine is loose but will need some attention. Rod bearing is rough as is crank gear. Another set of flywheels on a crankshaft with an excellent gear goes with it. The cam gear needs a bushing. It is missing the mag and bracket but these are findable parts… It is on the original skids but will need a new gas tank. There are two threaded holes in the hopper that need to be filled but there are no other breaks or repairs that I can see or know of. This could be a pretty good engine with just a little elbow grease! This engine should be a pretty straightforward project and would be a fine addition to your early hit and miss type engine collection or Fairbanks Morse display. The pictures tell the story.
