Good looking 10hp Fairbanks Morse Z on factory portable trucks. Engine is in great shape with great compression and runs well. There are no cracks, breaks, or repairs in any of the castings that I can see or know of. The gearing looks to be in good shape and I don’t think it has all that many hours on it. It has a few minor repairs like the tip on the rocker arm, the mounting hole in the crankguard, and the magneto needs some attention. The impulse doesn’t seem to kick out when the engine starts. It also has the wrong magnet on it but works as it is. The engine will need a gas tank as it ran on the gas put in the bowl. It is on very hard to find factory trucks. It seems to have been painted many years ago and has a great old look to it. With just some minor work it would be ready to show all day! I can deliver for free to Coolspring, PA, or several auctions later this year. It can stay here as long as needed as long as it’s paid for. These engines are real workhorses and it’s a lot of engine for the price! The pictures tell the story. You’ll like it!
