The main Photo shows the finished engine that can be put together from this Model Engine MECHANIC’S Kit. All parts are fully machined ready for assembly. The Original Design was built in the 1890′s. It incorporates, a pendulum type governor, igniter ignition, and a fuel pump, all without the use of timing gears. This is accomplished with a notched cam with a ratchet wheel advanced by simply by eccentric movement. All these functions are miniaturized for you in detail, when assembled into a fully operational model engine. Engine Specifications, 1-3/4′ bore, 2-1/4″ stroke, 12-1/16″ diameter flywheels. Total height when assembled 22-1/2 Finished weight as seen in the finished photo with the wood base 80 pounds. Castings, can be painted as the Finished picture shows, or the engine can be assembled as is and run, all the engine parts neccesary are included. You will need to provide the wood base to complete the assembly.
