This is a VERY hard to find original Bosch FU4BR 4-cylinder base mount magneto. It is in great shape with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of. It was rebuilt a few years ago and not used since. It is clockwise rotation and the impulse works as it should. It turns over very nicely and seems to have very little wear in the bearings or the impulse. Everything seems to work as it should. It has good magnetism and puts out a nice blue spark on all four leadouts. Everything inside the points cover looks to be in great shape. It mounts on a 2 inch square bolt pattern and the mounting threads are in great shape. These magnetos were used on some of the early Hart Parr tractors as well as other applications. These original Bosch FU4BR magnetos are very tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you’ve been looking for one for an authentic restoration here’s an extremely nice one that’s ready to go!
