Maytag Hit Miss Engine Model 72 Motor Twin Kick Start Runs Great! Here is a great running Maytag 72 Twin. It usually starts on the first or second kick. This is probably one of the best running twins Ive ever owned. Great for showing at an engine show or to your buddies! I have left it in its original work clothes, so you can decide if you want to restore it any further. At some point it could use a new fuel tank gasket because it weeps around that a little if you turn it on its side. Not a big deal though for now. I own several of these Maytags in my collection, and they are a great hobby. This would look great at an engine show, or just have it to teach the grandkids about history!
