The mounting spacing might be from around 7-1/4″ to 7-3/4″ apart on center. The sides that hold the mounting tabs are welded on on the inside seam. The bottom inside edge piece has been bent up. Here is a crank guard Domestic side shaft gas engine. It is in very nice original condition. I think it would probably fit engines marked with a few different hp’s so please check the dimensions against your engine. Check out the pictures and see if you need it. The mounting holes are about 3-3/8 on center. It is about 4-1/2 wide at the base where is sets in the block of the engine. See pics for other dimensions. For questions 419 789 1159.
