Here is a governor bracket with governor for a 2-1/2hp to 14hp Hercules and Economy engines. It appears to be in good original shape. It is missing the detent and speed changer. Take a look at the pictures and see if you need it. Original Part, no cracks, breaks, or welds. All the holes and the push rod slot look really good and not worn. The gov spindle doesn’t have much wear. This should fit most all the Hercules and Economy engines 2-1/2hp to 14hp. This is not for Sparta type Economy engines. 3HP – 6HP Fairbanks Morse Z. Hit Miss Gas Engine. For use on a 3 – 6 HP Fairbanks Morse “Z” hit miss engine. Pot Metal bracket part # ZBA37E. Set-up for battery and coil but can use R, RV or J magneto. 4 7/16 center to center engine mounting. Bracket is in like new condition with no breaks, cracks or welds. Cam gear is cast iron with 70 teeth and 7 1/8 diameter. Speed control adjuster is in great condition. I apologize for any inconvenience. Please feel free to call me with questions. It is in pretty good shape. The spindle fits really well in its bore and only the very smallest amount of wear can be felt Check out the pictures and see if you need it. The sheet metal piece that holds the pushrod in is a little rusty but that would be super easy to replace if someone wanted to. It is missing the detent arm that would mount on the pin. For questions 419 789 1159. Only very minimal wear can be felt. The 2 mounting holes are about 2-1/4 apart on center. The push rod that runs through it would be 3/4″ x 3/8″. 7/16 diameter pin for detent mounting. Very hard part to find. Thanks for looking at this listing! Governor for 1 1/2, 1 3/4 or 2 HP Hercules Economy Jaeger. 1 3/8 mounting on centers. Original mounting bolts included. Fits on a 3/4″ x 3/8″ push rod. Governor has been repaired along the mounting bracket – see photos. I apologize for any inconvenience. Please feel free to call me with questions.
