This is a real nice original WIco EK magneto bracket for a Nelson Brothers hit and miss or throttle governed gas engine. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind except for the advance/retard tab which appears to have been homemade. I’m sure it works as it should but could be made a little less crude. The trip finger is stuck on the shoulder bolt but I’m sure as greasy is this was before I cleaned it that it would free right up with a little heat. It has some decent original gray paint on it. I believe it is from a Model T Nelson Brothers or Little Jumbo engine but may fit other Nelson Brothers or Nelson Brothers built engines. It mounts with two holes 2 5/8 inches apart on center. These original magneto brackets are rather tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets and many of them are broken or repaired. If you’ve been looking for one to complete a restoration here’s your chance. The pictures tell the story. You won’t be disappointed in any way. This is a real nice original crank guard or splash shield for a larger Nelson Brothers hit and miss or throttle governed gas engine. At least I’m pretty sure it’s Nelson Bros… If it isn’t please educate me! It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. It is about 6 1/8 inches wide and about 17 inches long. It is part number A-60 and mounts with one hole in the back of the crankcase of the engine. These original crankguards are rather tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets and many of them are missing. If you’ve been looking for one to complete a restoration here’s your chance. Here is a carb or fuel mixer that I think is for a small Nelson Bros Little Jumbo. It is in good shape and seems to be ready to use. It appears someone might have ground down the mounting area to make it fit in a smaller hole. It would probably work fine as is or it would be easy to have a machinist true it up and make a bushing to slip over that area. Please take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it. I think this is for a small Nelson Bothers engine. It mounts to the engine by slipping into a hole. I think the mounting area has been ground down. It is currently a little uneven and a little tapered It is 1-3/16″ at the base and 1-1/16″ at the top. No, Cracks, Breaks, or Welds that I can see or know of. Most items will go out faster though. I have many good parts and pieces I will be listing in the next few months. I try to do a very good job of listing everything I sell in a very accurate manner to explain all the good and bad points with the pictures and in the description. So if someone doesn’t pay I will ban them from my listings and also tell all my friends who also sell engine parts on here who to watch out for. If you haven’t caught on this is supposed to be mildly funny but yet serious at the same time. If you decide you don’t want it or find another one cheaper you I won’t take it back. Here is a very nice old 1 3/4hp Nelson Brothers Model P hit and miss gas engine. It is fresh from an old collection where it lived for many years. It is in great shape with no cracks, breaks or repairs other than a drop of weld on the trip finger on the magneto. It turns over nicely with excellent compression and everything seems to move and function as it should. There is very little wear on the gearing or in the bearings. It was gone through mechanically by a previous owner and primed but not painted. It has the original name tag and muffler on it. This engine would be a very straightforward project and is not a very common engine! It would be a fine addition to your early hit and miss engine collection or Nelson Brothers display.
