This is an NOS, new old stock 3/4 Crane throttle valve for a steam engine. It is in unused condition and even has the original plugs in it. It has the original handle on it and everything seems to move and function just as it should. This is a very nice original example and should be ready to go to work for you. This is a very nice original and VERY hard to find brass specialty valve for a Minneapolis steam traction engine. I don’t know exactly what engine it is for and may fit several so if you know please educate me. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know or. It is complete with the original star handle and drain. It appears to be a sediment trap of sorts. It has 3/4″ npt female threads in both places and has “29M in raised numbers on the body. Everything seems to move and function as it should. This is a very nice original example. If you need one for any reason this one should serve the purpose. This is a very nice original and VERY hard to find brass check valve for a steam pump of some kind. I don’t know exactly what engine it is for and may fit several so if you know please educate me. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know or. With the exception of the lower tail nut it is complete with the dome and all of the internals are inside. Although it isn’t marked I think it was made by Buckeye Brass Works as most of these were. It has 1″npt male threads in both places and has “4425 in raised numbers on the body. The body measures about 12 inches tall. It looks to have some original green paint on the body. This is a very nice original example. If you need one for any reason this one should serve the purpose. It would also make a great spare on the shelf. These original brass check valves are almost impossible to find in. The wild or even at swap meets so don’t miss your chance one this one. This is a pretty nice original and VERY had to find Hancock Inspirator or steam injector. It’s not all pounded up like a lot of the injectors that you see. It seems to be complete with all of the tail nuts and fittings. The valves seem to move as they should. I believe this a 3/4 inch inspirator as the plumbing is 3/4 inch on the bottom and 1/2 inch on top. The body measures about 6 3/4 x 9 1/2 inches. It is marked with the makers name on a barrel of the body. All in all this is a very nice original example. If you need one for any reason this one should serve the purpose. It would also make a great spare on the shelf. These original Hancock Inspirators are almost impossible to find in. The wild or even at swap meets so don’t miss your chance one this one.
