BOSCH Type AB33 ED-1 High Tension Magneto. Bosch Type AB33 ED-1 high tension magneto for spark plug engine. Pot metal body in good condition. Flip type mag with spring. Here is a very nice magneto for an Associated hit and miss gas engine. It makes an excellent spark. Only has minimal wear. Please take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it. SPECIAL NOTE: This is a low tension magneto, it is meant to work with an igniter and will not produce at spark that will jump an air gap. It will not work with a spark plug. The spark it produces can be observed by rubbing a wire from the terminal against the case of the mag while turning the shaft. It does have to be timed to the engine. 5/8 shaft for gear mounting. 2-3/4″ x 2-3/4″ mounting pattern. All of the mounting holes seem to have excellent threads. Only very minimal wear. For questions 419 789 1159. I think I list items very accurately but my opinion on condition may differ from yours. In my opinion this is a nice magneto. Fairbanks Morse Type “R” Magneto High Tension Magneto. I recharged the magnets to make sure it was at full strength. Bench tested and guaranteed to be a HOT mag. 3 7/8 apart-on-center mounting. Here is a nice Bosch Type 22. It is hot and should be ready to use. The arm that holds the spring is very slightly bent or twisted but I don’t think that will be a problem. The trip needs to be cocked to the left and then released for this mag to make spark, it will not work the other way. Please take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it.
