This is an EXTREMELY hard to find original cast iron low tension ignition coil for a Stickney hit and miss gas engine. It is in excellent original condition as can be seen and retains some of the original blue paint. The knife switch works as it should. It is part number 1785. It mounts on top of the crankcase with two holes 4 inches apart on center and I believe it fits all sizes of Stickney engines. Please measure your engine or consult your parts book to be sure it fits your application. It will also work for other ignitor fired engines but is a factory Stickney coil. I checked it just before I took the pictures and it put out a spark like you are welding! These coils hardly ever turn up in the wild or even at swap meets so if you need one don’t miss your chance on it! It’s ready to go to work running an engine or it would also make a great spare on the shelf. The pictures tell the story.
