This is a very nice and very hard to find original Sumter B 2-bar magneto for a hit and miss or throttle governed gas engine. It should fit many engines but please measure your engine to be sure it will work for you. It is in great shape with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of other than a very nicely done reproduction “porcelain” insulator made from Delrin. It mounts on a 2 inch square hole pattern and the threads in all of the holes are in great shape. It turns over very nicely with very little noticeable wear in the bearings. This magneto has been disassembled, cleaned, and has had the magnets recharged. It has a nice hot spark that is sure to run your engine if it is set up properly. The pictures tell the story. Here is a nice looking Lonergan wine glass oiler. These were often used on Otto gas engines. It appears to be missing a lock nut to tighten up the top around the stem. Missing its gaskets and the bottom drip sight is cracked. The main wine glass looks great!! Check out the pictures and see if you need it. For sale: A rare 1910 Deutz model 311. 10 HP Otto side-shaft throttle-governed stationary gas engine with a 4 foot diameter flywheel in running condition. I have owned this engine for about 15 years and have done quite a bit of (mostly) cosmetic restoration to it. Included with the engine is a nearly-mechanically-new double axel trailer which I bought new for transporting this engine when I bought it. Also included are a few large flat and v-belt pulleys (which will require machining the shaft holes), various sizes of brass pipe thermometers, and a box of various brass/bronze fittingsall yet to be installed. Photos of the pulleys, thermometers, et al. The engine is missing its governor cover and crank cover. I have detailed photos of both from other engines for re-creation. Also, the brass serial number plate is a replica. The magneto is the original unit, which is incredibly rare. It and a sister engine were rescued by an English collector in the 1990s. Patent 1900 Paradox Gas Engine hit miss vintage toy Schoenner, Ernst Plank, Otto

The Paradox Gas Engine original vintage flame ignition toy model engine. This is the rarer straight / tank cooled cylinder version versus the more common finned air cooled cylinder version. Engine appears to be all original to include original maroon paint and patent date on side of the base Pat. Not sure if it has been run before. Comes with original wood box and a small container with graphite inside it. Box has original label on it which has illustration of the engine on the side, and top indicates engine has been tested and adjusted and is “warranted”. Note, label indicates this engine was made in Fall River, Mass. Most online references to Paradox engines show illustrations of air cooled version and indicate the engine was made in Hartford, Conn. I believe this tank cooled engine is the earliest style Paradox engine made before the move from Fall River, Mass. Other evidence is the tank cooled engine has the patent date painted on the base where the air cooled engine has the patent date cast into the cylinder. And lastly, this tank cooled engine has a wood box where as online images of the air cooled engines show a cardboard box with green label. The earlier tank cooled Paradox engines are much harder to find, let alone with nice original paint and patent date. Furthermore, I have never seen an original tank cooled Paradox wood box w/ label. This might be the only one left? A very rare opportunity to own this almost 120 year old toy engine with original box!
