Magneto it not stuck! Incomplete, missing points cover! Please see all pictures carefully! Magneto pot metal housing has some chips/pieces missing as you can see in the pictures. The 2 mounting holes on the bracket that bolts to the engine has a bolt hole spacing of 2 5/8 on centers. Please see all pictures for the absolute best description and keep in mind this is not a new part and shows it’s years of usage and abuse!

This is a very hard to find original Remy Dual Ignition battery/magneto coil switch for an early car, truck, tractor, or other engine. It is fresh from an old service garage estate where it lived in retirement for decades. The switch lever moves as it should as does the knob and key. The barrel is clearly marked for Battery, Magneto, and Off on the face. All in all it retains a lot of original patina and would look great on an original survivor vehicle. Take a look at the pictures and see what you think. These original coil switches are getting harder to find with each passing year so if you need one here’s a pretty nice one. REMY NON-Vibrating Type Ignition Coil. Has REMY ignition switch on front with start button. Lever moves freely to Batt. Top screw on switch does not tighten down. For Hit Miss engine or early Automobile like Overland, Buick, REO, Carter Car, Oldsmobile, Etc. Nice brass name plate. All wood case with some surface damage on one side (See Photo 7 for close-up). Nice tight finger joints. Nice unusual REMY coil box. Wires come out rear side of coil. Brass name tag is marked. Rear cover is 5 1/4″ x 8 1/2″. Box is 4″ x 7 3/4″. Overall height is 3 3/4.
