Miniature scale model Hit and Miss Engine Gas IC Engine 1911 Harley Design

I will be listing five engine models. Four of them like this one are spark ignition and run on gas. Be sure to check out my other listings as well. This little engine like a little swiss watch in quality it is about 3 inches tall, and therefore would be about 1/8 scale in comparison the atmospheric designs of the early 1900s. It is completely self contained, with water-cooling, electronic. Adjustable exhaust valve, and adjustable fuel mixer (carburetor). It can be easily started with the included rope pull (like and old lawn mower) or with an electric drill, using the included start extension. The crankcase, cylinder and head are made of brass. The cylinder has a steel liner, and the crankshaft and internals are steel as well. I have not run it. It comes with easy to understand starting instructions. It will need to have the crankcase willed the oil before you run it. Whomever buys it, will love it. 1/2 Scale Olds Hit and Miss Model Engine, Breisch

1/2 Scale “Olds” Hit and Miss Model Engine made from Paul Breisch castings. Built in 1989 by Model Builder: Robert Frederick. This is and extremely well build model engine in very nice original condition. The engine has good compression and starts up easily and runs without any issues. Generally starts on first flip of the flywheel. Has slight run-out on flywheels. Paint is nearly perfect. Nothing is broken, welded or repaired that I can see. A rare unbuilt Domestic air cooled model kit in excellent condition. The castings in cast iron are the 2 flywheels (6 1/4 inches in diameter), the head and the sleeve for the cylinder. The aluminum parts included are, the cylinder, the gas tank, base, main bearing caps, and the two piece muffler. The bronze parts included are, the connecting rod, carburetor, 2 side shaft bearings, igniter and rocker arm. There are eleven pages of blue prints. I believe this model kit was put out by the HEWCO co in about 1995. Over 25 years ago and hard to find now. Please see my other auctions for more oilers, collectibles and engine parts. Hello All and thanks for stopping by. Up for sale/offers here is another one of the hit and miss model engines my dad built. He had his fun with this one and has moved on. Get a battery and a propane bottle! This is a quarter scale Model C GADE engine. Bore is 7/8 inch, Stroke 1-1/4 inch, Flywheels are 4-1/2 inches, and it weighs 6 pounds finished. Plans are from Morrison & Martin Engine Works, Benton City, WA. Engine runs on propane and just runs right along once you get it started. I have a video of it running, but I think you will have to ask me to send you the video and I can try to do that thru messages. The pictures I think also show the flywheels spinning too.
