This is a real nice old Edwards #5 alligator metal shear. It is fresh from an old collectors estate and is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind that I can see or know of. Everything moves and interacts as it should. There are a couple nicks on the shear bars but it should work the way it is or these could easily be replaced. These shears are a great addition to your blacksmith shop setup or display and they really speed up material gathering in working shops!
