Antique old vintage hit miss gas engine bolster set cast iron large size

These are about 70% larger than the small set. These cast iron bolsters take a lot of the work and all of the welding out of making a cart for your engine. One pair of stationary and a pivoting bolster with axle mounting hardware designed to work with axles 1 5/16″ to 2″ in diameter recommended for use on engines 4hp and up. A lot of you have bought wheels in the past with the idea of actually using them one day, well dig them out and dust them off (or leave the dust on) now is your chance to put them back to work even if they take different size axles, due to the design you can run any combination of 1 5/16″ to 2″diameter axles between the front and rear. Bolsters are 5 1/2″ tall and the width spacing between the mounting holes on the pivoting bolster base is 9 ¾”. Finished height of cart will vary depending on the diameter of the wheels used. Cast iron will give an antique look many prefer over fabricated strap steel and help your engine really stand out at the next show. Can of root beer for size comparison, not included. Here is an extremely hard to find oiler made by Michigan Lubricator Company specifically for a Backus gas engine cylinder. It is in good condition with no breaks or repairs but does have some testament to its days in service as can be seen. It retains some of the original nickel plating and has a few nicks but still has great patina and would look great on an original engine. It is between a #5 and #6 size with the glass measuring about 3 3/8″ diameter and about 3 5/8″ tall. Overall the oiler is about 3 3/4″ diameter and about 9″ tall. It is marked “144 1/2″ on a hex flat and it has the original filler plug. It had 7/8-12 straight machine threads and someone put tapered pipe threads on it for the first portion. The straight threads should still work just fine. Both glasses are good but it needs new gaskets. It has vent tubes casted into the main stem as you can see in the pictures. This would be a great compliment to a high quality engine! It would even make a great spare on the shelf. The pictures tell the story. You’ll like it. Here is an original HEAD for a 3hp John Lauson hit and miss engine. It has some cracking at the top front of it. The good thing is that no repair has ever been attempted so you can fix it the right way! A lot of these heads are beyond repair because of very poor previous repairs. The engine this came off of was a 3hp, Type F, Size AB, with a 4.5 bore. It might also fit other sizes of engines. Check out the pictures and see if you need it. For questions 419 789 1159. Has some cracking but should be easy to repair. It is about 7-3/8 in diameter. The raised center area is about 4-1/2 in diameter. The mounting holes are about 4-1/16″ x 4-1/16″ on center. The valves have a little bit of wear but will work fine. The valve heads and seats look great! Weighs 19-1/2 lbs before any box or packing. Thanks for looking at this listing! Here is a nice IHC No. 2 Gas Engine Cylinder Oiler. Looks to be in nice shape and ready to use. This would be an original oiler IHC Famous or Mogul or early M. For your consideration is what appears to be a New Old Stock Large Oiler, Size #7. This could be used on a Hit Miss Stationary Engine, or Line Shaft. The glass is about 4-1/4″ in diameter, and about 5″ tall. The Oiler is made of brass, with a steel fill flap. It has a 3/4 NPT thread. This doesn’t have a vent tube or check ball.
