This was manufactured in the U. There is an original flywheel and a Stromberg Carb. The flywheel measures 11.5 across and 2 8/16 wide. I inside dimensions of the flywheel where the crank shaft runs is 1 1/8. The Carb is a Stromberg UR-3/4 80. Motor rolls but unsure if it will fire. Mounted on a couple old blocks. 1922 rare first year Palmer YT 4 cycle overhead valve engine. The engine Turns over smooth. It has a monarch carburetor. The water jacket on the cylinder will need to be welded/repaired. The Oiler glass is broken. The 2 crank case flanges closest to the flywheel that bolt the engine down have the corners broken off. One bolt to the brass oil fill will need to be retapped. VERY hard to find and pretty nice original JI Case water transfer pump for a steam engine water wagon. No cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of other than a missing drain/priming plug on the bottom. Piston is stuck but should free up fairly easily. It has one hose fitting on it which is in great shape. The other hose fitting and nut are missing but are available as reproductions from someone in Canada that offers them. It even has some original paint on it yet. Has the CASE name in raised letters on one end. I can deliver for free to Coolspring, PA, or several auctions around the country later this year or LeSueur, MN, Baraboo, WI, Portland, IN, or Coolspring, PA, next year. It can stay here as long as needed as long as it’s paid for. These original pumps are extremely tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you’ve been looking for one don’t miss it. This is an extremely nice original and rather hard to find Chandler piston type water pump that was commonly used on steam traction engine water tender wagons to transfer the water from the wagon to the boiler. It was made by Chandler Pump Company in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and has the name in raised letters on the side of the body. It is in outstanding condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. The pump measures about 18 inches long, 18 inches tall on the board, and about 44 inches to the top of the handle. The handle moves as it should with seemingly little wear. It may need new leather cups on the piston but it might even pump water the way it is! Leather cups are available rather inexpensively if it does need them. It seems to be mounted on its original board as it too has some original paint on it. The original brass bleeder plugs are in it as can be seen. This one of the nicest transfer pumps that I’ve ever come across as most of them are pretty beat up from years of use. The pictures tell the story. I can deliver this for free to LeSueur, MN, Baraboo, WI, Portland, IN, or Coolspring, PA, engine shows or swap meets later this year. It’s tough to find pumps like this that are this nice so don’t miss it!
