Carburetor for 3hp – 6hp Fairbanks Morse Throttle Governed Engine. Fits 3HP – 6HP Fairbanks Morse Z throttle governed engine. 3 1/4 apart on center carb mounting. The needle valve that goes to the starter side of carb is good. The needle valve that goes to gas tank is good. Cast iron original part no. I apologize for any inconvenience. For use on a 3-6 HP Fairbanks Morse “Z” throttle governed engine. Pot Metal Bracket Part No. Mag mounts 3 7/8 center to center. 4 7/16 center to center 2 bolt engine mounting. ZBA28D on cast iron gear. Cast iron gear has 66 angled teeth and 7 1/8 diameter. No breaks, cracks or welds that I can see. I apologize for any inconvenience. I have for sale a carburetor specifically from a 3HP Throttle governed Fairbanks Morse Z engine. I believe it’s the same carburetor that some of the 6HP z engines use. Keep in mind this does is not the fuel pump style carb! Bolt hole spacing between the 2 holes is 3 1/4 on centers! Part numbers are a little tricky to read but I believe they say ZBA4A and ZCA4A. Throttle shaft moves freely. The gas line will need some work/replacing to the fuel inlet. See pictures for the absolute best description. Keep in mind this is a used item, it has wear and is almost 100 years old.

I have for sale a carburetor specifically from a 3HP Throttle governed Fairbanks Morse Z engine. I believe it’s the same carburetor that some of the 6HP z engines use. Keep in mind this does is not the fuel pump style carb! Bolt hole spacing between the 2 holes is 3 1/4 on centers! Part numbers are a little tricky to read but I believe they say ZBA4A and ZBA198B. Throttle shaft moves freely. The steel strap that holes the fuel line to the bowl is split/cracked, seems to still be doing its job though! The springs on the valves are broken. See pictures for the absolute best description. Keep in mind this is a used item, it has wear and is almost 100 years old.

Specifically for a 2HP throttle governing Witte engine. Make sure your engine is the screw in type style and is 1 1/4 before purchasing!! This carb seems to be in pretty decent condition considering it’s age. However there is a fuel adjustment valve that is broken off and stuck!!!! The throttle shaft moves freely and the butterfly seems to close up against the housing like it should. Probably doesn’t seal off the air 100% but Shouldn’t have to with a throttle governed engine. The throttle adjustment knob is rusted stuck, shouldn’t take a whole a lot to work it loose though. See pictures for the absolute best description and keep in mind this is a used part that is almost 100 years old!
