HOT Low Tension Coil. Coil is in good condition and ready to use. HOT coil – I tested right before listing – t. Hrows a nice blue spark. Cast iron black case with 3 mounting holes on the bottom. If you don’t see a part you need listed, good chance I just haven’t gotten around to it yet, so just check with me. Complete and loose 80 HP Western Gas Engine. Recently being prepared to start with overhauled oiler, carburetor, and intake valve assembly. It comes with the correct flipper type magneto, stub shaft with auxillary pulley, belt tensioner, and muffler. This is a California engine built in Los Angeles in 1926. The flywheels are approximately 7′ in diameter. These are great running engines and a nice addition to any collection or club show grounds. 1916 16hp Western Gas Engine of Los Angeles Hoist engine. The engine is complete. It was running a year ago. I disassembled to remove the paint from a prior restoration. The heavy parts have been reassembled. The remaining parts are all accounted for and need to have the existing paint removed. Beautiful engine, I cannot handle the weight. This is a very rare original International Harvester Company, IHC, cast iron ignition coil for an early Famous or Titan gas engine. It is in good original condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. It mounts on a 1 3/4 x 4 5/8 inch rectangular pattern. It has some original black paint on it and part of the original Western Electric decal remains. I checked it just before I took the pictures and puts out a hot, fat, blue spark almost like you are welding! It is ready to be used to run an engine or to be put in your early IHC memorabilia display or collection. These coils are extremely tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you’ve been looking for one don’t miss your chance on this one.
