1/3-scale Parsell & Weed Gas Engine Kit. Includes new-old-stock castings and a new, 29-page 11×17 drawing set. Machining is REQUIRED to build this kit. The photo of the completed engine is the prototype I finished earlier this year. The horizontal version of this kit was available from its original designer, Woody Sins for a short time about 20 years ago. The vertical has never been released. Two prototype casting sets were made for the vertical, but never completed. Littlelocos Model Engineering will be releasing the horizontal and vertical kits in August and I will be completing my display models based on one of the new kits. 2 flywheel castings (iron). 2 cylinder collar castings (iron). 1 engine base casting (brass). 2 bearing stand castings (brass). 1 connecting rod casting (brass). 1 head casting (brass). Timing Gears (machined, cross-drilling and drilling/tapping for the timing button are required). 29-page, detailed drawing set covering BOTH versions of the engine This set has been marked with two corrections: piston length and compression ratio. The new drawing set is a complete update on the original design, incorporating numerous refinements and presenting the design clearly and professionally. The purchaser is also entitled to updates as they become available.
