This is a rather hard to find original Webster JY magneto. These were used on many different hit and miss and throttle governed gas engines back in the day most notably International Harvester Famous and Titan engines. It is in good used condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind that I can see or know of. The diecast body has some deterioration in a few spots as can be seen but this is strictly cosmetic. It has heavy wear in the bearings and teh end plates need to be bushed before using it. This can easily be done in your home shop. The trip finger has very little noticeable wear as can be seen. The magneto mounts on a 2 7/16 x 2 13/16 inch bolt pattern and all of the threads, although not perfect, are in very usable condition and hold nicely. It has the original name band on it. It needs a leadout cover and roller springs which are available from several of the hobby suppliers rather inexpensively. I’ve checked this magneto and it puts out a hot fat, blue spark that will surely run your engine if it is setup properly after you bush the armature bearings. It would even make a great spare on the shelf! These big Websters don’t come along that often so don’t miss it. The pictures tell the story. You won’t be disappointed in any way.
