This is a pretty nice original Allen Magnetizer for recharging magnets of any kind especially magnets for hit and miss engine magnetos. It is one of the larger magnet chargers I’ve run across in quite a while. It measures about 16 1/2 x 9 1/2 x 10 3/4 inches tall. It has the original charging blocks with it and is capable charging 2 and 4 pole magnets. It also can charge round armatures as the blocks and housing can accommodate them. It is quite heavy and works very nicely. I’ve used it for several magnets and charged a few just before I took the pictures. It is 110 volts AC which is much nicer than having to use a battery on the DC powered ones. The original cord is good but the end is a bit shaky. It works find but is old. These magnet chargers are becoming increasingly tough to find with each passing year and they are one of the most indispensable tools you can have if you collect hit and miss engines or tractors. A lot of times a magneto just needs a charge to wake it up. If you’ve been looking for a nice one here’s your chance. This one is ready to be put to work. Just think of the sideline you could have charging magnets for all of your engine friends. The pictures tell the story.
