Vintage Hit and Miss engine in very good condition. Was running fine when stored 5 yrs ago. Recently uncovered and cleaned up. Fourth pic shows clean piston skirt at bottom of cylinder. Water drained before storage. Finger jointed battery box seems original. Davis and Colbert Machinery Company. Hit and Miss enthusiasts feel this is made from Waterloo Contract Castings. Used for demos and parades in Atchison, KS for 30 yrs. Was run once a year on Fourth of July. Needs Battery, Small Wooden boxed coil in battery box, still in-tact.
