This is a rather hard to find original Webster magneto for an ignitor fired hit and miss or throttle governed gas engine. It is as close to New Old Stock as you could hope to find and if it was used it wasn’t used very much at all! It is in excellent original condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. It is a model L with 3 magnets. The magneto mounts on a 2 inch square pattern and was used on many gas engines of the day. There is almost no noticeable wear in the bearings. I checked it just before I took the pictures and it puts out a nice, hot, blue spark that will surely run your engine if it is set up properly. There is very little wear on the trip finger. The threads in the mounting holes are in great shape and have the original studs in them yet. It has the original name band on it yet. If you’ve been looking for one don’t miss your chance on this one. It is probably the cleanest and sharpest original Webster I’ve ever owned or offered. It will likely be a long time before another one turns up! It would also make a great spare on the shelf. Let the pictures be your guide. You won’t be disappointed in any way.
