This is a pretty nice old Maytag Model 82 air cooled hit and miss gas engine. It is from an old collection where it lived for many years. It seems to be mostly in original condition. It turns over nicely with super compression and the magneto has hot spark. I haven’t tried it but I’m sure it wouldn’t take much more than some fresh gas to make noise. There is an old well done repair on the hub as can be seen and a chipped mounting ear on the base. These probably won’t affect anything but I surely wanted to point them out. There are no other breaks or repairs that I can see of know of. This would be a nice engine to add to your hit and miss gas engine display or Maytag collection. The pictures tell the story. You’ll like it. Model 82′s don’t turn up nearly as often as the later 92′s so don’t miss your chance on it.
