Here is a pretty decent old International Harvester 6hp Type M gas engine. It is a throttle governed engine. It is in decent condition and should be a pretty straightforward project. It is missing the fuel mixer and ignitor along with some smaller items like the throttle rod and linkage. It turns over nicely and has very little wear in the cylinder. The head has two old weld repairs on it that likely could be dressed down a bit. The fuel pump is broken and will need to be welded but the plunger moves as it should. It has the original IHC Type R magneto on it. The inside of the crankcase is good and greasy and the original gas tank appears to be quite solid and likely usable. With some elbow grease this should make a pretty good engine! It would be a fine addition to your early hit and miss engine collection or International Harvester lineup. The pictures tell the story.
