This is a VERY hard to find original Leader 3/4 inch governor for a steam engine or gas engine. It is in excellent used condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of other than needing the valve rod put back into the socket with the set screw. Everything moves as it should. There is very little wear on the gears and only a little more on the pulley shaft. It has the original pulley on it. The 3/4 inch NPT threads look to be in great shape. It stands about 12 inches tall. Other than the valve rod and a little cleaning I would say this governor would be ready to be used on an engine! These old Leader governors are quite tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you’ve been looking for one for an authentic restoration here’s a really nice one.
