Rare Perkins Model Hit and Miss Gas Engine. Model by Debolt Machine Co. This particular model is still in the hands of the original owner. It was a replacement engine completely finished by Debolt Machine Co. It is a 1/2 scale working model engine of the original Perkins Upright Windmill engine. It runs on Coleman fuel and a 12 volt battery and low tension coil. A simple internet search will demonstrate the rarity of these particular engines by Debolt. The engine is now showing its age, with the original factory lacquer paint flaking or cracking in some places. The brass is absolutely beautiful and polished up ready for show. The engine runs as it did the day my dad picked it up from the shipper when I was 9 years old. Flywheels measure about 9 inches. Overall height with fuel tank installed is about 25 inches. I will crate the engine if necessary to ensure it is protected. I can deliver within 100 miles of Sparta, NJ.
