This is a real nice original belt driven generator that would be a great display running with your hit and miss gas engine! I believe it was made by Fairbanks Morse and is 32V DC but I have no way to tell other than it was with a Fairbanks Morse engine that matched it at the sale where I bought it. If you can educate me please do! The 3 wires have the original aluminum wrap labels on them but I don’t know what they mean. There are no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of. It turns over nicely with no noticeable bearing wear. The brushes and all of the internals look to be in good shape and there is very little noticeable wear on the armature. I believe it is ready to be used again. It measures about 11 inches in diameter so it is a nice, manageable size. It has a v-belt pulley on it but this could easily be removed to put on a flat belt pulley. I can deliver this for free (or a cold beverage) to Coolspring, PA, Baraboo, WI, or Portland, IN, later this year. It can stay here as long as needed as long as it’s paid for.
