Here is a really nice original, large, and impressive Fairbanks Morse clutch pulley for a Model N or NB engine. It is 36″ in diameter with an 8″ face. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind that I can see or know of. Everything moves as it should and the wooden shoes look to be original and are in good condition. The original friction ring is with it and mounts to every spoke of the flywheel with studs 10 5/8 inches apart on center. The pulley fits on a 3 3/4 crankshaft but could be bushed down to fit a smaller crankshaft. I’m pretty sure this pulley will fit a 25hp N or NB engine and I know it will fit a 25hp Model Y engine. It could easily fit many of the smaller Fairbanks N’s with a bushing. I can deliver for free (or a cold beverage) to Baraboo, WI, Portland, IN, or Coolspring, PA, later this year. These big clutch pulleys are extremely difficult to find in the wild or even at swap meets and they really set an engine off! They also make it possible to run belt driven implements with your engine. If you’ve been looking for one to complete a restoration here’s your chance.
