Original Super Rare Lauson Lawton Wisconsin Sideshaft Gas Engine Hit Miss Cast Iron Hand Trucks. Very rare hand truck for rare side shaft engine. This is for the larger 3 or 4 HP Wisconsin sideshaft. It has 12 dia. Front and 17 3/4 dia. Rear wheels with a 3 1/4 wide face. The solid steel axles are 29 long overall. It has the original hand forged handle. Has original front axle braces. No cracks welds or repairs on the iron parts. The wood is solid but has some age cracks. A Lauson side shaft engine collector told me that he know most of the collectors with Wisconsin engines and only knows of a very few that have this size of original cart. I have been collecting for over 40 years and it is the only one I have ever had. Large heavy items can be picked up here in North East Kansas.
