This is an extremely hard to find original ignitor for a Fairbanks Morse T hit and miss gas engine. It may also be for a Fairbanks Morse H but please be sure to do your homework or consult your parts book to be sure. It is in great condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind that I can see or know of. It has a cast iron body and mounts with two 7/16 inch holes 2 7/8 inches apart on center. This ignitor should fit all sizes of the vertical T engines but again, please measure your engine or consult your parts book to be be sure. Everything moves and functions as it should. There is very little noticeable wear on the movable shaft and trip finger. It has very good points on it and also has the original brass ground screw and thumb screw. It should be ready to be used on an engine or put on the shelf for a spare! These original early Fairbanks ignitors are extremely tough to find so if you’ve been looking for one don’t miss your chance on this one. It will likely be a long time before another one turns up!
