This is an original cast iron starting crank for a large Witte hit and miss gas engines. It fits on a 2 inch crankshaft and is about 17 inches long. It will work to start many engines but it came from the factory with a Witte engine. The starting lug is in great shape with very little wear and moves as it should. This crank should be ready to go to work starting an engine! These cranks are quite tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you need one to complete a restoration here it is.
