This is an extremely hard to find cast iron fuel mixer or carburetor for a 1 1/2, 2, and 2 1/2hp Simplicity hit and miss gas engine. It is a brand new faithful reproduction and was made with an original as a pattern. It is in good condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind as it is new. It measures 1 1/8 diameter to slip into the bottom of the head. It mounts to the top of a round gas tank with four holes as can be seen. This mixer is ready to go to work on an engine. These fuel mixers are very often missing or broken on the smaller Simplicity engines so I had some made. They were done by a professional machinist and the quality of his work is clearly evident. These mixers are next to impossible to find so if you’ve been looking for one to complete a restoration or to put on the shelf with the rest of your engine parts here it is.
