This is a very nice and very hard to find original Elkhart 4-bar magneto for a hit and miss or throttle governed gas engine. It should fit several engines but please measure your engine to be sure it will work for you. It is in great shape with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of. It has the original leadout tower and leadoutcover including the lever nut as can be seen. It mounts on a 2 inch square hole pattern and the threads in all of the holes are in great shape. It turns over very nicely with very little noticeable wear in the bearings. This magneto has had the magnets recharged. It has a nice hot spark that is sure to run your engine if it is set up properly. The pictures tell the story. It would also make a great spare on the shelf. It will likely be quite a while until another Elkhart magneto come along for sale and it probably won’t be this nice!
