VERY hard to find original brass body Accurate Engineering Company Model U magneto as used on some International Harvester Company Mogul sideshaft engines. It’s in great original shape with no cracks, breaks, or repairs other than a couple blemishes in the original name band. It has been bushed at some point in the past and oscillates very smoothly with excellent magnetic pull and puts out a very hot spark that will surely run your engine if set up properly. It looks to have minimal wear on the trip finger. It mounts with two holes 2 inches apart on center and the threads are in great shape. It has great original patina and would look good on a nice original engine! It’s ready to go to work on an engine or would be a great spare on the shelf for the next time you need one as they just don’t come along very often! It would also be a very nice upgrade for a diecast body Model U magneto.
