3 very old copper cans with Lunkenheimer stamped on the lever of each one. They are marked Heavy Oil, 30 Machine Oil, and Cutting Oil. They all look nicely hand made. The lids lay on the top of each and can be easily removed. Really unusual and great for the shop or hit and miss engine collection. Check out the photos for condition. Each one measures approximately 5 3/8″ X 5 1/4″. They stand about 10 5/16high. 1928 John Deere E 1-1/2 HP stationary gasoline hit & miss farm engine on correct reproduction cart with redwood skids. Just finished this beautiful nut & bolt restoration. All nuts and bolts are original and have been cleaned and clear coated to prevent rust. Original gas tank has been coated and drain plug should not be removed. Nice new paint – starts and runs as it should. No issues with this one – it’s ready to go. Was rebuilt by John Hidy of MO before he passed away. Look up that name in antique engine magazine and you will see that he is no novice. Most of his engines were the large industrial 2, 3, & 4 cyl stationary power plant 2 stroke diesels. Some of the proceeds will benefit the surviving spouse. The New Way Air Cooled Engine distributed by John Deere and will start. The flywheel has a 19″ diameter and a shaft pulley that is 4″ by 8 wide. For sale is a Fairbanks and Morse 3 hp 475 Rpm gas engine. The patent date is 6-12-17. This is a throttle governed engine. I only spent about 10 minutes messing with it and basically cleaned it up a little. I bought a small collection of motors from someone recently him and his father were the ones that did this restoration many years ago and it was garage kept. They built the cart for which pivots in the front. I would say it is 90% original in running condition. Could need a few tweaks or minor maintenance, but overall in excellent condition with great compression. Please look at the pics and ask any questions. Antique John Deere E 1-1/2 HP Hit & Miss Engine. This has been restored and put on rebuilt engine cart. There is no tongue for the cart. We ran it a few times and then parked it in the kitchen. It has been sitting in the kitchen since it was rebuilt. The grandchildren liked to fiddle with it, and “drive” the fly wheel when they were very young. I would like it to be loved in a new home. The serial number is 344625, built in 1937. Local pick-up is preferred. IT WILL TAKE ME A FEW EXTRA DAYS TO BUILD CRATE ON PALLET AND GET IT TO FASTENAL.
