2697 Horizontal 3 Ball Fly Governor Steam Hit Miss Engine. This listing is for an antique Judson model No. 2697 Ball Governor for a hit and miss engine. It is in great antique shape, and with the proper final touches could easily be put to use again. This is the perfect piece for finishing or starting a new hit miss engine build! It comes with both belt pulleys as well, to re-convert back to an older belt system. It has the original metal branding tag still attached (see photos) which is rare on these kinds of parts, especially in this good of condition. All the gears and levers spin and turn freely, one spot seems to be held with copper wire in place of a missing pin. It has the original knob, which is also usually missing on these as well. It also comes mounted to what I assume is the original mounting bracket/ base. Top to bottom of base: roughly 18.5 inches. Width: roughly 8.5 inches. I have cleaned this item to the best of my ability. It has had multiple scrubbings, washings, and sudsings to get as much of the 120 or more years worth of grime off. It still has some stubborn residue left, but nothing that will affect the functionality of the item. Early Style Cast Iron Pot Oiler for Reid Oilfield Engine. Cast Iron Oiler is in good condition and ready to use. About 7 1/2 tall from the bottom of the threads to the top of the cap. Very RARE hard part to come by. The mounting ears look good. No breaks, cracks or welds that I can see. I apologize for any inconvenience. Please feel free to call me with questions. Original Vintage Old Rare Matched Set Of 4 John Deere Cast Iron 5 Spoke Wheels Hit & Miss Gas Engine Steam Punk Industrial Truck Cart. They have the JD logo and part #J 1361 H cast on them. All four wheels are 9 7/8 dia. With a 1 1/2 face. They have a flat face makes for a nice cart. The axle hole is 1 11/16 diameter. One pair has traces of original JD green paint the other pair has good original JD green paint. No cracks welds or repairs. Nice matched set to make a small to medium size engine truck for your JD E engine or other hit & miss engine or you steam punk cart or table.
