HOT ACCURATE Type R Low Tension Magneto. Brass body – no band. Bench tested – HOT with test light. I recharged the magnets. Base is 3″ x 3″ with 2 mounting holes that measure 1 15/16 apart-on-center. For your consideration is a Hercules Crank Guard for I believe a 5-6hp Hit Miss Engine. It is about 8 between the center to center of the slots for the mounting bolts. It’s about 15-1/2 from tip of top to tip of bottom flange. The guard part is about around 6-3/8 wide. The bolt slots are about 8 on center. You could use this on an Economy engine but you’d have to drill the engine back. It is heavy and made of cast iron. It’s in original patina. Here is an original cam box top for a John Lauson or Alpha De Laval hit and miss engine. It seems to be in pretty good shape. Check out the pictures and see if you need it. AC7 its also marked with an R in the center of it. The mounting pattern to the engine is 3-3/16″ x 2-1/4″. The holes for the magneto clamps are about 5-1/16 apart on center. The holes for the mag locater pins are 2 apart on center. No cracks, breaks, or welds that I can see or know of. For questions 419 789 1159. Thanks for looking at this listing! Like I said, I have been doing this a long time and try to list everything accurately and to provide a detailed explanation of the item, both good and the bad. If you decide you don’t want it or find another one cheaper, I won’t take it back. For example, if my measurements are wrong I would take it back.
