This sale is for a rebuilt Sumter #12 magneto and 30 tooth drive gear. This fits headless 1 1/2 HP Fairbanks Morse engines. It has been completely taken apart, bead blasted, new base installed, armature shafts turned down to true them up, bushing plates bored out and new bushings installed and bored to fit armature shafts, magnets painted and charged, new brushes and new band installed. It will have our logo and the date stamped on it when sent to you, and we will replace it or repair it if it has any problems in these 2 years. Please see pictures and ask questions if you have them. Here is a very nice 14 bolt on clutch pulley for a 6hp Fairbanks Morse 6hp Z. This clutch is in great shape and ready to use. It appears to have some old belt dressing on the face of it. I think this add character but it would be easy to take it off if you didn’t want it on there. Take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it. Fits a 6hp Fairbanks Morse Z. No cracks, breaks, or welds. 14″ diameter, 5-7/8 ” wide belt surface. Bolts onto the flywheel with 3 bolts. The mounting bolts are about 7-3/8 apart on center from each other. It slips over approximately a 2-1/4″ crankshaft, the hole in the pulley is about 2-5/16″. If your crankshaft would happen to be larger the pulley would need bored out. I think this will also fit a 3hp FM Z but you would need a bushing for the crankshaft. Most items will go out faster though. I have many good parts and pieces I will be listing in the next few months. I try to do a very good job of listing everything I sell in a very accurate manner to explain all the good and bad points with the pictures and in the description. So if someone doesn’t pay I will ban them from my listings and also tell all my friends who also sell engine parts on here who to watch out for. If you haven’t caught on this is supposed to be mildly funny but yet serious at the same time. If you decide you don’t want it or find another one cheaper you I won’t take it back. This is a rather hard to find original American Bosch AB33 flick or trip type magneto for a Fairbanks Morse Z gas engine. It is as found from the inventory of the estate of an early engine collector. It seems to be in great shape with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of. It has the short trip arm on it. It has the original points cover with all of the patent dates on it which is often missing. It is not stuck but it is pretty stiff. It would greatly benefit from a disassembly and cleaning! The two mounting holes have excellent threads in them and the two original brass locating pins are still in the other two. These AB33 magnetos are really tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you need one for a restoration here one is. It’s one of the nicest ones I’ve had in 20 years.
