Early Z with electric flywheel and rare starting valve cut out. Bosch mag sparks, have had engine running but it is a little cantankerous. Includes hard to find crank guard and original skids. This is an extremely hard to find original fuel pump for a Fairbanks Morse Y diesel engine. It has a part number of YF1456 and may fit more than one size or all of the sizes of the Y engines. It mounts with two holes 3 1/2 inches apart on center. Please measure your engine to be sure it fits your application. It measures about 6 3/8 inches tall without the plunger. The plunger moves as it should with seemingly little wear and it pumps as it should. Everything seems to be in great shape and I don’t think this pump would take much (if anything) to be usable! I can’t ever remember seeing another pump like this for sale so if you need one for your engine or just for a spare on the shelf here it is. I believe it is ready to be used on an engine. Antique Fairbanks Z 3 hp Stationary Gasoline farm engine on generic cart. Has original badge, paint, original hand crank, belt. And a unique carburetor/fuel pump combo. This engine has been converted to a spark plug engine and has a new tower lead and wire in magneto. Also has an oiler on it. The belt pulley has some spots that have rusted through (in picture). I have put a new gas tank, rings and head gasket on it as well. This engine runs but will need a little fine-tuning. I prefer cash on pick-up at my house. For sale is a Fairbanks Z style c engine. This is a throttle governed engine not a hit and miss. It does not have the correct gas tank. It does have the heavy flywheels that were typically used on the generator models. The engine turns freely but has not ran in many years and will need some TLC to get her going again. This is how I got it and it has been in the barn for the past 25 years or so. I can strap it on a pallet and drop it off at Fastenal if you make the arrangements. Many of the items.
