Here is a nice Webster K magneto. It is very hot and in great shape. The bearings are very tight, only a very minimal amount of wear. It spins freely with the springs off just as it should. Please take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it. If you have any questions 419 789 1159. SPECIAL NOTE: This is a low tension magneto, it is meant to work with an igniter and will not produce at spark that will jump an air gap. It will not work with a spark plug. The spark it produces can be observed by rubbing a wire from the terminal against the case of the mag while turning the shaft. It does have to be timed to the engine. 2″ x 2″ mounting pattern. All the studs are in great shape and are tight in their holes. Only a very minimal amount of wear. Spins freely with the springs off. I think I list items very accurately but my opinion on condition may differ from yours. In my opinion this is a great magneto. If you have any questions about how to use it on your engine please ask. This is an extremely hard to find original ignitor for a Fairbanks Morse T hit and miss gas engine. It may also be for a Fairbanks Morse H but please be sure to do your homework or consult your parts book to be sure. It is in great condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind that I can see or know of. It has a cast iron body and mounts with two 7/16 inch holes 2 7/8 inches apart on center. This ignitor should fit all sizes of the vertical T engines but again, please measure your engine or consult your parts book to be be sure. Everything moves and functions as it should. There is very little noticeable wear on the movable shaft and trip finger. It has very good points on it and also has the original brass ground screw and thumb screw. It should be ready to be used on an engine or put on the shelf for a spare! These original early Fairbanks ignitors are extremely tough to find so if you’ve been looking for one don’t miss your chance on this one. It will likely be a long time before another one turns up! This is a very large and impressive 2 Gardner steam engine governor. It could also work for a large gas engine. It is in excellent, used condition just as found from an old collector’s estate. Everything moves as it should and it has very little wear on the the gears. It has some mild wear on the shaft and should work fine just the way it is. All of the internals are in the steam chest. It stands about 23 inches tall and mounts with a flange on the bottom as can be seen. These large governors are almost impossible to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you need one for a project don’t miss your chance on this one. Here is a nice looking IHC R magneto. It produces a very nice spark and has only a very minimal amount of wear. It still has the factory seal in place. Please take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it. SPECIAL NOTE: This is a low tension magneto, it is meant to work with an igniter and will not produce at spark that will jump an air gap. It will not work with a spark plug. The spark it produces can be observed by rubbing a wire from the terminal against the case of the mag while turning the shaft. Here is a very nice Wizard Type B1 friction magneto. It is in good shape. I hooked it up to a 12 volt battery and it spun just as it should. There isn’t anything to hold the friction wheel on it currently. The shaft could easily be drilled for a cotter pin like most are. The base seems to be curved to mount it on to a round surface such as a cylinder. Please check out the pictures and see if you need it. For questions 419 789 1159. SPECIAL NOTE: This is friction type generator. This mag is meant to be used with a coil. It is not meant to be able to start an engine but is meant to take the place of the batteries once the engine is running. It in itself will not produce a spark that will jump an air gap. Mounts with 2 holes about 4-3/4 apart on center. The base is curved like it was mounted on a cylinder. Has a small amount of bearing wear. Weighs about 13-1/2 lbs before any box or packing materials. Here is a very nice Sumter AP low tension magneto. This mag appears to be in great original condition. It produces a very nice hot spark. Please take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it. SPECIAL NOTE: This is a low tension magneto, it is meant to work with an igniter and will not produce at spark that will jump an air gap. It will not work with a spark plug. The spark it produces can be observed by rubbing a wire from the terminal against the case of the mag while turning the shaft. It does have to be timed to the engine. 2″ x 3-1/8″ mounting pattern on the bottom. The mounting holes have perfect threads. No wear can be felt. The gear is about 2-1/4 in diameter and has 16 teeth. I think this mag is ready to start and run your engine. This is a heavy mag, it weighs about 20 lbs before any box or packing material. I think I list items very accurately but my opinion on condition may differ from yours. In my opinion this is a great magneto. If you have any questions about how to use it on your engine please ask.
