Magneto for hit miss engine. Magneto is in good condition and ready to use. This is a large Webster magneto. Throws a nice blue spark. Bolt pattern 2 1/2 X 2 7/8. Threads all look good. No breaks, crack, or welds except on one oiling hole is chipped out doesn’t affect. I reserve the right to end item early for local sale. Here is a very nice and hot Wico EK magneto that will fit many different old engines. This one has the square block and spring bracket for an engine such as a Cushman Cub. If you don’t need that stuff it comes right off and has the normal roller bushing inside the square block. Please take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it. If you want to talk about it 419 789 1159. Appears to have a newer leadout tower. For Questions 419 789 1159. I think I list items very accurately but my opinion on condition may differ from yours. Sumpter No 12 Low Tension Magneto. Bench tested and guaranteed to be a HOT mag. 3 15/16 mounting pattern. The base mounting plate is cracked and so are the mounting ears – see photos. Gear fits 1 1/2HP Headless Fairbanks Morse – Part No. Gear has 30 teeth and 3 1/8 diameter. In my personal opinion, this mag is in good condition and ready to use. I apologize for any inconvenience. For your consideration is an original 303K26 Webster Magneto/Igniter Bracket for 3 -12 HP Economy and Hercules Hit Miss Engines. The mounting bolt holes are 1/2 and about 2-1/4 on center. The mag bolt pattern is 2×2. The brass tag has Webster Electric 303k26 No 714975. The movable electrode moves as it should but needs a new spring. The timing lever doesnt move presently, and needs a roller for the trip finger. Here is a very stout and impressive 9hp Ideal vertical tank cooled hit and miss engine. This may be the largest ignitor fired Ideal still alive from the limited research I’ve done. It is in great shape and was restored many years ago and shown locally. Everything turns and interacts as it should and it has good compression. It has an extremely well done homemade fuel pump on it. The ignitor and trip linkage has some repairs on them but there are no other cracks, breaks, or repairs on it that I can see or know of. It is unique in that it pulls down to trip the ignitor. It has 3 3/8 x 30 flywheels on it and is very impressive when standing near it. It has a belt drive water pump which (I’m not sure) looks to be original and a very nicely done stainless steel screen cooler. The original name tag is missing but you can clearly see where it was. Currently it has a homemade stamped brass tag with the information on it. It is on a homemade drop cart that isn’t the fanciest but surely makes moving it easier! I haven’t tried to run it but I doubt it would take very much to make noise. Good older restoration 1 1/2hp John Deere E (26XXXX) hit and miss engine. It was restored many years ago and has held up pretty well. Everything seems to be in great shape and turns and interacts as it should. It has decent compression and shouldn’t take much to make noise although I haven’t tried it. The gas tank has many solder type repairs on it and there is an extra stud screwed into the side of the water jacket for a push rod return spring but this could easily be disguised. It works just fine as it is and could surely be left along. The magneto looks to be in good shape and the engine has the correct muffler and pulley on it. There is some main bearing thrust that could be taken up but it would run the way it is. All in all a pretty honest old John Deere engine. Webster Magneto and Bracket. Magneto is in good condition and ready to use. Webster JZ Type 4. This is a large HEAVY Webster magneto. Throws a nice blue spark. 4 Bolt pattern 2 1/4 X 2 7/8. Threads all look good. 1/2 diameter locator pin included. Nice original part, came off a running engine. Condition: The bracket has been repaired along the roller arm.
