Old group of matching steel wheels to build a set of trucks to put your hit and miss engine on. They measure about 3 x 20 inches in diameter and are in good condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of. They are on the matching axles and roll very nicely. The original cast iron socket for the tongue and bolster are on the front axle. With some additional rails of your choice and a little effort these will make a nice cart for your engine. These larger steel wheels are tough to find and will make your engine a lot easier to move! This is a rather hard to find all steel engine truck or cart made by Electric Wheel Company and used under several companies engines including Fuller Johnson, Hercules, Economy, Root and Vandervoort and many others. It is in good condition for its age with no cracks, breaks, or repairs other than two rear spokes which need to be reattached at the hubs. It has the original handle as can be seen. The 3 channel iron rails are 8 1/4 inches wide and 52 inches long which is easily adjusted. The wheels are 14 and 20 inches in diameter with 2 1/2 inch faces. The solid axles are 30 inches long. It has some patches of original red paint on it. All of the wheels roll just as they should. This is a very solid and strong truck that will hold most any engine from 2 up to about 5hp depending on size and weight. This is a VERY hard to find original Eisemann CM-4 base mount magneto. It was used on some early Caterpillar tractors and portable engines and possibly had other 4-cylinder applications. It is in great shape with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of. It is clockwise rotation and the impulse works as it should. Everything seems to work as it should. It turns over nicely with very little bearing wear. It has good magnetism and puts out a spark on all 4 leadouts. It would likely benefit from a good cleaning and/or a new condenser. Everything inside the top cover looks to be in great shape. It mounts on a 2 inch square bolt pattern and also on a 2 x 3 1/2 inch pattern and the mounting threads are in great shape. These original Eisemann CM-4 magnetos are almost impossible to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you’ve been looking for one for an authentic restoration here’s a really nice one. This is an original and estate fresh early Economy 2 1/2hp Model E hit and miss gas engine. It is in decent condition for its age but does have some battle scars as can be seen. The head has some old repairs and will need attention. The engine turns over as it should and almost everything interacts as it should. Everything is free on the engine except the valves. They move but are very stiff and will need to be removed for attention. The mixer has an extra hole in the back of it that will likely need to be filled. The engine is missing the Webster magneto and the ignitor bracket has been drilled for a spark plug. There is a slight crack on the side of the water jacket that I’ve pointed out and may need attention but probably won’t leak. The original gas tank looks quite solid. It has some original red paint in places as can be seen. In general this engine just needs a good going through and should be a pretty straightforward project! It’s a good chance to get into a true hit and miss engine at ground level. I can deliver for free (or a cold beverage) to Baraboo,, WI, Portland, IN, or Coolspring, PA, later this year. Original old steel wheeled engine truck as could be used of most any engine 6hp or smaller. 4 channel iron rails are 15 1/2 inches wide and 64 inches long which is easily adjusted. The wheels are 24 and 20inches in diameter with 4 inch faces. No cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of other than a few extra holes in the rails and some extra wood risers on the rear axle that could easily be removed. It is missing one original hubcap but there are 3 there for patterns. The solid axles are 48 inches long and the trucks are 72 long overall. It needs a tongue but the hardware is there as are the brace irons. This is a very solid and strong truck that will hols most any engine up to 6hp and possibly larger. These larger engine trucks are tough to find and make your engine a lot easier to move! This is a rather scarce size 7hp Ottawa hopper cooled hit and miss gas engine. It is a bit of a project but what’s there is in pretty decent shape. It turns over as it should. It appears to have the original belt pulley on it. There is some recent weld on the water jacket which needs to be ground down and two very old repairs on the ignition trip parts. One of the push rod holders is cracked but otherwise there are no other cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of. The hopper is just sitting on the cylinder. Old Early MADISON KIPP Cast Iron Steam Engine Oiler Hit Miss Gas Tractor WOW

This is a VERY hard to find early cast iron Madison Kipp single feed lubricator used on early steam engines and other pieces of machinery. It is in great condition for its age with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind that I can see or know of. It has some wear and old oil and dirt on it. Everything turns as it should and it seems to pump as it should. It has the original cover with the patent dates on it. It is missing one of the ratchet fingers but the other one is there for a pattern to reproduce. The insides look to be in great shape but could use some cleaning. It mounts with one hole on the L-casting on the bottom. It measures about 4 x 6 1/4 x 11 1/4 inches tall overall. It has the original lever and priming crank on it as can be seen. These early cast iron Madison Kipp lubricators are extremely difficult to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you’ve been looking for one for an authentic restoration don’t miss your chance on this one.
